You will want to click this button and follow the instructions that come up next.

When you are taken to the next window, you will be asked to come up with the personalized portion of your Outlook email address, i.e., [email protected].

This is the first page for the account creation process. On the next page, you are asked to create a password and can choose whether you would like to receive informational emails about Microsoft.

Then, you will be asked to enter your first and last name. After that, enter what country you are in and your birthdate.

Nearing the end of the process, Microsoft asks you to complete a puzzle on the screen to prove you are not a robot or hacker of some sort. These puzzles are relatively easy and have you select images with a certain object in them.

As one of the final steps, you will check or uncheck a box based on how you feel about staying signed in. No matter what you choose, after pressing ‘Next’, it might loop back and take you to the first page.

Instead of following the instructions a second time, you will want to either search, “Outlook sign-in” or click on the Microsoft icon.

From this page, you can sign in to your account. This process is similar for most of the abovementioned online email providers.

For Outlook users, Microsoft offers an entire suite of products and services that fall under Office 365. Some of these programs include PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel, among others.

3. Personalize Your Email Account
